Avatarium premiere new live video for the track »Lay Me Down« from their first live album, »An Evening With Avatarium«

Swedish heavy doom rockers Avatarium premiere new live video for the track »Lay Me Down« from their first live album, »An Evening With Avatarium«, out on December 4th, 2020 via Nuclear Blast Records.

In January 2020, Avatarium did their first two shows in what was supposed to be the world tour for the album »The Fire I Long For« that was released just a month earlier. Because of the pandemic this became the only shows they did that year. »Lay Me Down« shows the psychedelic side of Avatarium and also the inspiration from bands like Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Doors and others. The song is from the latest studio album by the band.

This is how Marcus Jidell describes the music: “If you mix Dio Black Sabbath with some of the great 60’s psychedelic bands and adds a modern metal touch then you have Avatarium.”

Marcus plays on his Hagström Viking Tremar Deluxe on this song.

The concert was filmed with 5 cameras by Blackbox and edited by Magnus Stenvinkel. The sound is mixed by Viktor Stenqvist.

Avatarium is:
Jennie-Ann Smith – Vocals
Marcus Jidell – Guitar
Mats Rydström – Bass
Andreas Habo Johansson – Drums
Rickard Nilsson – Keyboards
