Doomed Confessionary: Vitalii, Marat, Dmytro & Serhii (Dice & The Acid Warrior Lord)

Dice & The Acid Warrior Lord is a four-piece vintage rock band from Kyiv, Ukraine. A blend of 70s revival, stoner and neo-psychedelic rock.

The band released their debut album »Ignition« on March 8th, 2022 followed by a brand new single »Glow In The Dark« on April 12th, 2024. Both releases are available on all major streaming services.

Dice & The Acid Warrior Lord are Vitalii Havrylenko (vocals, guitars), Marat Adiev (vocals, keyboards), Serhii Pryimak (bass) and Dmytro Buntov (drums).

Can you say a few words about your band?
In the span of two years, we have released one full-length album and one single from our upcoming second album. The recording is in full swing, giving us hope to deliver the brand-new album later in 2024.

What was the biggest challenge for the band?
The biggest challenge for the band is answering these questions while looking out the window of a coffee shop and seeing ladies wearing progressively less clothing due to global warming.

What can you be most proud of so far?
Surviving for so long.

What was your biggest regret?
Surviving for so long.

What was the best concert/tour so far and why?
The second installment of our very own “The Great Open Gathering of The Arcane Association” in Kyiv.

What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
Speaking of the worldwide scene, Ghost has made rock music great again with a mainstream impact not seen since the ’90s.

What was the best advice you’ve ever been given as a musician?
You can fool anyone except yourself.

What are your guilty pleasures?
What is guilt? Anything goes.

Can you say something more about the music scene in Kyiv?
We were surprised by how local bands managed to keep releasing music and running shows. Some of them successfully toured Europe and even the world’s biggest scenes, such as Roadburn and Wacken.

Where can we see you live this year (concerts/tours)?
For now, our gigs are limited to Kyiv city, and we have two shows booked for this month, by the way. The future is unpredictable, so we can’t schedule anything further.

What are your plans for the future as a band?
Our first single was released recently. At least one more is forthcoming. After all the singles are out, we plan to release our second album. We hope it will hit digital platforms in early autumn 2024, and hopefully, physical media – at the very least, the audio cassette.
