It seems there is no need to be afraid of rock music. They are still here, the young savages. Despite everything that has happened in the last few months.

The trio from Einhoven is a fantastic live band. Untamed, sweaty, wild, loud and full of noise. Garage rock’n’roll, the way you like to hear it. Rough and dirty, yet full of glam and glitter.

Two years have passed, where everything mutated. Viruses, the world, the culture industry, bands, rock music. At a time when the basic mission of a band was being questioned, all three of them wanted to do was play “The Greatest Shows On Earth”!

“We felt like peacocks, wishing to be able to spread our feathers once more. We stood proud and tall and played every show we possibly could!”

They filled spaces they weren’t allowed to fill with energy, joy, glorious anger, relief and hope! They played where they were allowed to play, with and without an audience, for themselves and for their fans. Open air, video stream concerts, online festivals and the magic of these shows – we believe – has been captured on this record and is a foretaste of what is to come!

And the name? ballet? bombs? Is there anything we should know?

“The Ballet Bombs really stands for what we are. On one hand we create tough, noisy, energetic, explosive music. But on the other hand we’re just sweet guys, we love glam and don’t have to be edge and the tough guys all the time… A bit yin yang.”

The Ballet Bombs are Rubin “Zwoelboy” van Nistelrooy, Erik “El Cahole” van de Beek and Frankie Fuzz.
