Wroclaw, Poland based psychedelic doom/stoner metal trio Gozd has released new single and music video »Τhanatophobia« taken from their upcoming EP »Unilateralis«. »Τhanatophobia« is available now on Spotify and other streaming platforms.

“Gozd” in archaic slavic language means literally: “Beech Forest”, which is precisely describing the band. Thanks to gloomy and oriental riffs, long melancholic tracks, you will feel the depth of dark forest, full of beech trees. Magnificent, solid and wise creatures, just like the music you are about to hear. Please lose yourself between the sounds.

Gozd was formed in Wroclaw, Poland back in 2019, by Gozdek brothers: guitarist Kuba, drummer Marek (who have been playing together for most of their lifetimes) and Robert Sobański on bass. After over 3 years of finding each other, as well creating the proper sound, the first album »This Is Not The End« was ready in December 2022. This album was dedicated to honor the memory of Robert.

In spring 2023 Kacper Sierpowski (ex-Black Smoke, Hippie Slutz) joined the band and brought youth, skills and a heavy bassline vibe. Actively playing concerts, full of new ideas, young post/stoner/doom band, they are going to stay here for a while.
