Siena Root presents a short video documentary on the release of their latest album, »The Secret Of Our Time«

Swedish retro rockers Siena Root presents a short video documentary on the release of their latest album, »The Secret Of Our Time«. Two nights in Stockholm and Gothenburg, just before the pandemic hit the world and all culture was shut down, Siena Root released an album, featuring a fast range of international top musicians. Follow the band behind the scenes and experience exclusive root rock close up. Filmed by High View Media and Backstage Productions.
Siena Root is group well known for its rainbow spectra of appearances, its many great guest artists, its broad musical range and its unique interpretations of classic rock music. Seven full length studio albums, one double live album, one DVD and three 7″ singles have been released so far, each one marking the development and refinement of the bands spectra of music style. Siena Root came to life in Stockholm in the late 90’s and is today considered one of the pioneering Swedish bands in old school rock music.
The live act came to be an uncompromising show, using all the heavy vintage equipment that most bands lack the strength and passion to carry along. Even a full size multi-track tape recorder was brought all over Europe during the recording of their live album. With the immense dedication to do it all the way, Siena Root would always stand out from the others. A Siena Root concert is dramatic and exciting, visually, as well as emotionally. It’s a dynamic root rock experience.
But why Siena Root? In the sense that blues is blue, hard rock is black, and reggae is pan African coloured, this music has the colour of siena. It is a warm colour, originally from the muddy roots of the earth. Because this sound has roots that go deep, it was also natural to let root be a part of the bands name.
