From Century Media Records:

Here is the first single and video »Woven Into Sorrow«, taken off upcoming album »Moonflowers« which will be released worldwide on November 19th and can be pre-ordered as of today.

The brand-new track is the first heavy version to be released of the record, as the band already released very special classical editions of the regular album songs. Both versions – classical string and regular album version – are as dark and mournful as we are accustomed to Swallow The Sun.

“Here it is! The first single of »Moonflowers« is out! »Woven Into Sorrow« is probably the gloomiest track of the album. The backing growls for this song came by Antti Hyyrynen from Stam1na. Enjoy the misery!” Mikko Kotamäki comments.

At 52-minutes, »Moonflowers« is an eight-song affair that drives deep into the heart of Swallow The Sun main songwriter Juha Raivio’s disconsolate soul. From the dramatic »Enemy« and the grim »This House Has No Home« to the delicate »Moonflowers Bloom In Misery« and the beauteous »The Fight Of Your Life«, »Moonflowers« is as rewarding and dynamic as it is accomplished and intimate. That it features Cammie Gilbert (Oceans Of Slumber), Antti Hyyrynen (Stam1na), and Trio NOX – who perform a re-arranged classical version of »Moonflowers« in a Finnish church, which comes as a bonus album to some of the album formats—are more reasons to hold Swallow The Sun’s latest leap into the unknown in the highest regard.
