Israeli stoner/doom metal trio Slowrepeat announces new full-length album »Aqua Haze« – coming in January 2026!

Electric Desert Records proudly presents the return of stoner doom visionaries Slowrepeat, who are set to unleash their second full-length album, »Aqua Haze«, on January 23rd, 2026. Fans can get an early taste of the cosmic fuzz when the first single »Singularity« lands on November 21st, 2025, followed by the meditative groove of »Renewal« on December 19th, 2025.

Emerging from the heat and haze of the Mediterranean underground, Slowrepeat conjures hypnotic waves of distortion and desert psychedelia. Their signature sound – thick with fuzz, drenched in atmosphere, and pulsing with a ritualistic sense of rhythm – draws comparisons to Electric Wizard, Acid King, and Elder, while blending traditional Middle Eastern textures such as the bouzouki into the mix.

Founded by Ben Salomon in 2020 as a one-man stoner-doom experiment, Slowrepeat quickly evolved into a full band with drummer Yair Tavior and bassist Shay Leder. Their debut album »Abra Cannabra« (Herby Records, 2024) cemented them as rising voices in the modern doom movement. Following lineup changes, Yotam Fadida (of Lachlann) stepped in on bass, helping the trio refine their massive, trance-inducing wall of sound that defines »Aqua Haze«.

Recorded under the scorching skies and mastered by Craig Lauinger at Mix Cave Mastering, »Aqua Haze« takes listeners on a heavy psych journey that dives deep into the elements – melding crushing riffs, ancient tones, and the endless drone of the desert horizon.
