This is »Umbra« – The shadow, the unseen, the weight beneath the light. With her second album, Ellereve descends deeper into emotional and sonic terrain – a bold evolution shaped by vulnerability, intensity, and contrast.

»Umbra« is a record of duality: fragile yet forceful, introspective yet eruptive. It weaves together a rich palette of genres – from ethereal atmospheres to crushing post-metal riffs and carries a sense of tension throughout, as if always moving between collapse and clarity.

This time, the sound is heavier, darker, more defiant. Drawing from the depths of post-metal, doom, and blackened textures, Ellereve explores the complexity of emotion without ever losing the haunting, cinematic essence that defines her musical identity. An unexpected shift, perhaps – but one that feels necessary. »Umbra« doesn’t just follow a path. It carves one.
