Hora are a four piece doom band from Bristol, UK. Formed by Adam (guitar) and Andy (guitar and vocals) over lockdown, Dan (drums) and Mike (bass) joined in late 2022. Hora blend doom with elements of thrash and more classic metal to create something new.

Hora’s first EP, »Witch Trial Sessions Vol. 1«, is inspired by the Cornish witch trials of the 17th century, and the witches tower at Launceston Gaol, which is said to be the site of witch burnings. Each song considers a different actor in the trials – the judge, the executioner, and the condemned. The songs of this EP came together organically over the course of extended live jam sessions in the past years.

The long-awaited follow-up to Hora’s debut 2024 EP, »Witch Trial Sessions Vol. 2« continues the journey into the dark events of the Cornish witch trials of the 17th century.
