AcidSitter are Polish-Japanese neo-psychonauts who explore the broad trend of psychedelia with rock’n’roll passion and stoner punk energy. They play a mixture of psych rock and garage rock with a modern twist.
AcidSitter returns with the concept album »Escape From Egoland« – a psychedelic manifesto about the human body’s need to reject the ego. It’s a story of fall, awakening, and spiritual rebirth in a world suffocated by its own pride and flesh.
The album »Escape From Egoland« was produced by Maciek Cieślak of the legendary Polish band Ścianka. To give it a sound characteristic of 1960s psychedelic rock bands, the entire album was recorded on tape.
»Escape From Egoland« is released on vinyl (with poster) and CD by Interstellar Smoke Records.

AcidSitter’s new album has a coherent narrative: a transformation, through which the songs guide the listener through successive stages. The album begins with a promise of rebirth, a hallucinatory ritual in ‘Eleusis Dream«, through the weariness and misanthropy of »Doomscroller’s Blues«, to the cosmic invasion of »Killegos Attack!«, punishing humanity for its overgrowth of ego. In »Your Eyes Were Orange Like The Sky«, a man drowns in prosperity and emptiness, unaware of the impending doom, while »OmeN« opens up a post-apocalyptic landscape – loneliness, silence, and ruins. »PSYCHOPOMP« combines stoner psychedelia, the energy of the Beastie Boys, and the darkness of doom metal into a sonic rite of passage. The final trilogy, »Seven Is My Lucky Number / Touched / Look At The Sun«, brings catharsis – after the death of the ego, peace, light, and understanding remain.
AcidSitter debuted with the single »Sweat Dreams«, which was released by the Irish label Fuzzed Up & Astromoon Records. In 2023, they released their first album »Make Acid Great Again« released by Interstellar Smoke Records. The album received rave reviews, and their concerts attracted crowds of fans. They played in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic. They could be heard at the Bearstone Festival (Croatia), Helsinki Psych Fest, Red Smoke Festival and Soulstone Gathering in Poland, as well as at concerts with King Buffalo, Karkara and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.
