Finnish alternative heavy rockers Kingwhip release new single »Walk Away« accompanied by music video

Tampere, Finland based alternative heavy rockers Kingwhip have released the first single »Walk Away« from the band’s upcoming debut album, accompanied by their first ever music video, directed and filmed by Matti Autio.

“»Walk Away« is a song about indecision. Two people circling each other’s orbits, colliding, drifting apart. Love turning to hate and back and no one knows what the hell is going to happen next,” says vocalist Janne Pajari.

Formed in 2019, Kingwhip are a Finnish four-piece blending the unpolished swagger of the late greats of Seattle sound with a keen ear for hook-laden Nordic melancholy. To date, they have released an EP in 2024 and played a couple of dozen shows in their native country.

The band’s debut album has been recorded and is currently in the mixing stage. The album will be ready for release during early spring 2026.
