Doomed Confessionary: Ross Cohen (Trunk)

Trunk is a four-piece band from Horsham, Pennsylvania that mixes doom, stoner, death & hardcore to form loud miserable, nihilistic party tunes. Founded in 2017, Trunk consists of Ross Cohen on vocals, Jeremy Lorenzon on guitar, Steven Benko on bass, and Tyler Geer on drums.
They have recently unleashed their most savage statement to date: »Fuck The Process«, a record that refuses to play safe, refuses to compromise, and refuses to let up. Recorded and produced by Tyler Romeo, »Fuck The Process« is a slab of pure death-soaked groove and chaos.
From sweat-drenched basements to festival pits across the U.S., Trunk have built their reputation on raw heaviness, unchained live shows, and mosh-ready riffs and breakdowns reminiscent of Hellfest and early 2000s metalcore. Now, all that venom has been captured in one uncompromising album.
Equal parts groove, grind, and sonic annihilation, Trunk proves once again why they’re one of the underground’s fiercest voices. Fans of Entombed, Acid Bath, Bolt Thrower, and Crowbar will feel right at home in the chaos, but make no mistake – Trunk aren’t following in footsteps, they’re stomping new ones.
