»Swimming In Trance« is the title of Dirty Sound Magnet’s latest video and a track from the album »Me And My Shadow«. The video is now available on our YouTube channel. The album is still available as a Tonzonen Exclusive LP Edition in the online store.

As is often the case in rock history, tragedy was never far from the album, and it nearly didn’t see the light of day. Two weeks before the first recordings, Stavros suffered a life-threatening case of food poisoning.

Semi-conscious and surrounded by frantic doctors, the themes of the album »I, Krankenhaus« began to surface in his subconscious. It is the light of music, the power of rock ’n’ roll. Many of the album’s themes stem from this event and its aftermath. Music is medicine for the soul, and working on this album helped Stavros process the emotional and physical shock.

Marco (bass) and Maxime (drums) have been on paths that have crossed and intertwined since their youth. Together, they have become one – and there was never a Plan B. Every decision in their lives has been guided by the desire to make music together – music they revere and which, in their eyes, opens a door to another world: a world of peace, beauty, and love.

With the release of »Me And My Shadow«, the band is in top form and happier than ever to play, record, explore new ideas, and share this glimmer of hope with a world that seems to be sinking into darkness.
