The album is available as digipak CD, limited vinyl LP and digital formats, marking a new chapter in the band’s long-standing and distinctive artistic journey. The central theme of »Come« is intoxication. The discussion here explores the phenomena that occur, and can occur, in the various phases of different states of intoxication. It delves into the question of reality versus imagination, as well as the degree of trustworthiness of these impressions. As mentioned earlier, there are numerous methods to alter the human mental and physical state in such a way as to influence perception. In these states, uncontrolled thoughts, feelings, and sensations arise, which can be both beautiful and threatening.
The songs on the album grapple with these impressions and tell stories that often defy logic. They flow into one another; there is no real beginning and no real end. The listener should be given the opportunity to accept the invitation of »Come« and embark on this journey to create their own impressions, because every intoxication is unique.
The album was deliberately recorded in the style of a thoroughly organic and retro-oriented analog production at Wide Noise Studio to preserve the band’s characteristic sound and continue the path forged with »Acid River«. A particular highlight is that band member and drummer Andre Schaltenberg alternates on drums with Christoph Hesse, the band’s founding member and first drummer, on every song.
