Proggy sludge metal & psychedelic stoner rock, homegrown in Brazil.

Seeker Becomes Seer emerged from two years of intensive, immersive musical exploration inside the legendary studio Sonastério – a monastery-like temple to music, erected in the wilderness of the Brazilian southeastern mountains. This epic environment inspired an almost spiritual pursuit for a more organic and eclectic blend of heavy music, an alternative to the homogenous, ultra processed, and down-tuned to oblivion slop that floods the mainstream.

The result is a 9-track tour de force that feels both metamorphic and strangely grounded. Rolling out over 2025, their debut outing pulls from stoner, prog, desert rock, sludge, and even old-school thrash – layering it all under stomping Brazilian percussion, fuzzed-out synths and absurdly anthemic, arena-ready melodies.
