Vessel Of Light returns with expanded, remastered self-titled debut via No Life Til Metal Records!
Featuring Dan Lorenzo (Hades, Patriarchs In Black) and Nathan Opposition (Ancient VVisdom).
No Life Til Metal Records is back in the trenches with a serious one, bringing new life to the long-out-of-print debut from Vessel Of Light, the collaborative project led by veteran riff master Dan Lorenzo and vocalist Nathan Opposition. What started as a buried European-only release has now been fully remastered, expanded, and rebuilt for a proper global run in 2026.
This isn’t just a reissue. It’s a resurrection.
The self-titled Vessel Of Light’s debut, originally tracked at Brainchild Studios in Cleveland, now returns louder, heavier, and more focused than ever thanks to a fresh remaster from Rob Colwell, whose credits include work with Nevermore, Flotsam And Jetsam, Helstar, King’s X, and Hades.

Lorenzo and Opposition’s chemistry still hits the same way it did on day one, equal parts grit, doom, melody, and that unmistakable old-school heaviness that refuses to age out.
Dan Lorenzo reflects on how it all started: “I decided to write about the band in NJ’s Steppin’ Out magazine and I mailed Nathan Opposition a copy and an old Hades CD. We started talking, no real plan, no expectations. I wasn’t even really playing much guitar at the time. Then he asked if I wanted to write together and it just happened.”
Nathan Opposition adds: “It started casually, almost jokingly. Then suddenly riffs were coming in nonstop and lyrics just started pouring out. It clicked fast, no overthinking it.”
What followed was more than a project. It became a catalog of releases including »Woodshed«, »Thy Serpent Rise«, and »Last Ride«, building a cult following in underground heavy music circles. But the debut album remained a hidden piece of history, only previously available in a limited European run.
Now it gets the treatment it always deserved.

The new edition includes:
• Four bonus tracks
• A cover of Black Sabbath’s »Wasp / Behind The Wall Of Sleep«
• Heavyweight crystal clear vinyl pressing (limited to 200 copies)
• Two-sided insert with lyrics, rare photos, and new liner notes from Dan Lorenzo
• Full remaster by Rob Colwell
• Expanded CD edition with updated packaging
For fans of Danzig, Corrosion Of Conformity, Alice In Chains, Black Sabbath, Ancient VVisdom, and Patriarchs In Black, this release hits that sweet spot between doom-laced heaviness and raw, riff-driven rock truth.
No Life Til Metal Records sums it up best. They are not just reissuing an album, they are correcting history.
»Vessel Of Light (Remastered & Expanded)« arrives July 3, 2026 worldwide. Radio impact begins May 15, 2026. Pre-order HERE.
