Cardiff, UK based sludge/post-metal band Thrakian (feat. Pantheïst members) has announced their debut album, »The Way«, which will be released on June 24th, 2026 via Aonair Records.

Thrakian are a Bulgaria-born, Wales-based sludge metal band, and their debut album »The Way« (out June 24 via Aonair Records) blends dense, atmospheric heaviness with themes of displacement, identity, and ancient philosophy.

Frontman Atanas (guitar and vocals) and Matt Strangis (bass guitar) are also members of the acclaimed doom metal band Pantheïst, bringing additional depth and experience to Thrakian’s expansive sound. »The Way« is a work born of ancient philosophies, personal upheaval, and a tumultuous journey toward rebuilding identity in a new land. Recorded at Longwave and Woodcroft Audio Studios by Tim Vincent.
