Spanish doom/drone solo project Cavrvm premiere new music video for »Creu Coberta Fuzz«, inspired by the Valencian legend of The Patriarch’s Dragon.

Cavrvm has chosen June 2, 2026, to release this music video, which has the feel of a horror short film.

The new music video from the dark music project Cavrvm has been available on YouTube since Tuesday, June 2.

This time, the story is based on a Valencian legend about a beast that terrorized the city of Valencia and which the author Vicente Blasco Ibáñez later published in a short story titled »The Dragon of the Patriarch«.

The video’s style draws directly from German expressionist cinema, featuring a completely traditional shoot, without AI, and with only a few digital effects.

“We wanted to be able to convey that sense of fear and anxiety that classic horror films evoke, without the characters uttering a single sound.”

On the other hand, the music still bears Cavrvm’s unmistakable signature, with a heavy dose of distortion and darkness.

“This is the kind of sound I’d like those films to have, and since back then it was impossible to create a wall of sound with deep, distorted guitars to accompany the images, I’ve decided to make it happen now.”
