Peruvian heavy psych outfit Rifle stream their new two-track EP »Bound To A Psychotic Cycle«

Lima, Peru based heavy psych outfit Rifle is back with their new two-track EP, »Bound To A Psychotic Cycle«, which was just released on May 21st, 2026.
Tracklist:
01. Incarnation
02. Twisted Death
After the disturbed and chaotic release of »Beyond Paranoia«, together with DHU Records they decided to press it on vinyl and accompany it with a 7” featuring two brand-new tracks. For these songs they did the opposite of last time so everything was recorded in a homemade, lo-fi, and dirty way while keeping the raw spirit of ’70s underground rock fully alive.
Expensive studio hours were left behind in favor of a rougher, less polished approach, giving them complete control over the DIY process. The result left them more than satisfied. Now operating as a two-piece, more seasoned and sharper, they emerge victorious like true soldiers of the underground.

»Bound To A Psychotic Cycle« is the title of this release, referring to the experience of being trapped within flesh and bone.
Musically, these two songs were initially inspired by Ted Nugent and MC5, but gradually evolved into something far more twisted, filthy, dark, and sexual.
Thus, »Beyond Paranoia« will not only see the light of day as a 12” vinyl edition, but will also be accompanied by this 7” release titled »Bound To A Psychotic Cycle«.
