On June 26, Majestic Mountain Records will release »Four Altars Of Sin«, a special split release bringing together four of the most exciting names in the contemporary Scandinavian doom, stoner, and heavy underground. Featuring previously unreleased tracks from Doomherre, Ordos, Hexjakt, and Kaiser, the release showcases four distinct voices united by a shared devotion to volume, atmosphere, and the transformative power of heavy music.

Across four exclusive songs, the participating bands explore different corners of the heavy spectrum, from classic doom and psychedelic stoner rock to blackened atmospheres and crushing fuzz-laden riffs. The result is a release united by a shared sense of power, atmosphere, and authenticity.

Ordos

● Representing Stockholm, Doomherre bring a stripped-back and uncompromising approach to doom metal. Formed by veterans of Sweden’s underground scene, the trio channels the spirit of classic acts such as Candlemass, Trouble, and The Obsessed while avoiding nostalgia or retro worship. Their contribution delivers exactly what has made the band a rising name among doom devotees: towering riffs, deliberate pacing, and an unwavering commitment to heaviness.

● From nearby Uppsala comes Ordos, a band whose sound continues to evolve into increasingly darker and more oppressive territory. Drawing from stoner doom, blackened influences, and psychedelic textures, Ordos create music that feels hypnotic, immersive, and constantly shifting beneath the surface. Their new track also marks the beginning of a fresh chapter for the band, featuring a recently recruited drummer whose arrival has already pushed the group into even heavier territory.

Hexjakt

● One of the newest names featured on the release is Hexjakt, a trio from Westmanland that has quickly established itself as a formidable force within Sweden’s modern doom underground. Formed in 2024, the band crafts vast and atmospheric compositions built around massive fuzz-drenched guitars, cavernous low end, and a powerful sense of tension and release. Exploring themes of the occult, existential dread, and humanity’s place within the cosmos, Hexjakt approach doom not merely as a genre but as a complete immersive experience.

● Completing the quartet are Finnish heavyweights Kaiser. Since emerging from the underground of East Helsinki in 2013, the band has built an international reputation through relentless touring and a sound that merges stoner rock, desert rock, punk energy, psychedelia, and doom into one irresistibly fuzz-soaked package. Following the success of their albums »1st Sound« and »2nd Sound«, Kaiser arrive on »Four Altars Of Sin« with another dose of their trademark riff-driven heaviness and larger-than-life attitude.

Kaiser

Released on vinyl and digital formats, »Four Altars Of Sin« serves as both a celebration of friendship and a showcase for a new generation of Scandinavian heavy music. While each band brings its own distinct identity, together they create a cohesive journey through the darker, heavier, and more atmospheric corners of the underground.

»Four Altars Of Sin« will be released on June 26 via Majestic Mountain Records. Pre-orders available HERE.
