Amanita’s debut album, »Virosa«, is the result of several years of grit, growth and obession. This record marks the first official chapter of our band – a collection of original songs that capture who we are now and point toward where we’re headed next.

The journey began during a beautiful weekend at Sill & Glade Cabin, a trip that included catching Corrosion of Conformity live and sparked the creative fire that shaped these tracks. From those first riffs in the cabin to the final mixes in the studio, »Virosa« has been a labor of passion and persistence.

These songs were mixed and mastered by the legendary Duane Simoneaux of OCD Recording, whose work with Crowbar, Sun Dont Shine, Down, Kirk Windstein, Exhorder, and many others brought the weight, clarity, and atmosphere this album needed. Duane put the final touches on »Virosa« with the same intensity and precision that inspired us to push this project across the finish line.
