Guglielmo Allegro’s (Void Sinker, Nightscape) new stoner/desert rock solo project Willy Kuma presents debut album, »Willy Kuma Vol.1«, which was just released on June 12th, 2026.

Willy Kuma is a project born from the mind of Guglielmo Allegro (drummer for Goliathan, Hypervenom, founder of the drone doom sludge project Void Sinker and the drone stoner rock project Nightscape).

Born in the summer of 2025, the project was born as a tribute to Brant Bjork’s Californian stoner rock roots and Tommy Guerrero’s jazz and downtempo influences, all merging to create a sonic journey through the arid desert to the warm and welcoming ocean.

No overly distorted sounds this time, no walls of feedback, but pure psychedelic experimentation to create something new.

Willy Kuma is currently an independent DIY project, recorded and developed entirely in house.

My name is Guglielmo Allegro and I’m proud to present my third solo project. Born a to ride the arrival of summer, this project was born as a tribute to the California desert rock scene, focusing on the sound of two musicians in particular: Tommy Guerrero & Brant Bjork.

Every now and then it’s good to have a change, between the cave-like riffs of Void Sinker and the psychedelic drones of Nightscape, I needed something quieter and lighter… this was the answer to that sonic search!

I hope you enjoy this project as it evolves as you did my previous two. Thank you all so much for your support!”
