Boarzoy is a Boston-based groove and sludge metal band formed at the Berklee College of Music. Known for their DIY “boar metal” sound, they released their sophomore full-length album, »The Great Fires«, and plan to relocate to New York City.

Boarzoy has been described as “perfectly organized chaos; dynamics; prosody; momentum; violence; honesty; unmatched reciprocal chemistry…”​​​

As well as their song »Agency (Is Necessary)« being “A heavy, rhythm-forward, metal grinder. Boarzoy flashes shades of doom on »Agency (Is Necessary)« but their footwork is too fleet to stay stuck in the mud for long…”
