Sleep Throne is an independent metal project from Pennsylvania that blends elements of doom, death, and black metal into immersive soundscapes. The project began as a creative outlet and has evolved into a pathway to craft and create stories based in fantasy or reality.
Sleep Throne mastermind Brett Benfer (Ill Omened) about »Sleep’s Throne«:
“»Sleep’s Throne« is now yours. 1 hour and 20 minutes of total fuzz soaked Sleep worship. This song was heavily inspired by the monolithic track »Dopesmoker« by legendary band Sleep. It was one of the first songs I’d ever heard by the band and it’s always been my favorite since. »Sleep’s Throne« is my homage to that drawn out fuzzed out wall of sound.
Album artwork by the talented Edrial Nayaka.
I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making it. Stay safe and stay heavy!”
