Los Angeles, California based alternative rock band Return To Dust has released Outkast cover »Hey Ya!« feat. Mat Mitchell of Puscifer.

Out now Republic Records, »Hey Ya!« is available for streaming on all major digital platforms.

The Los Angeles-based quartet Return To Dust bring the spirit of 90s grunge back to the stage and translate it into the present. The band combines dark alternative rock heaviness, massive guitars, and multi-layered vocals into a sound that audibly recalls Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, or Deftones, but without sounding retro. The band was formed in 2022, and their debut album was released in 2024.

Songs like »Belly Up«, »Black Road«, and »Bad News« carry that dusty, heavy vibe that instantly conjures images of flickering neon lights, dark clubs, and ridiculously loud amplifiers. At the same time, Return To Dust possess enough modern power to avoid sounding merely nostalgic. This isn’t a grunge comeback with obligatory flannel shirts, but rather rock music with drive, melody, and a healthy dose of grit.
