Jakarta, Indonesia based stoner/doom metal band Gutward presents their debut album, entitled »I«, which was just released on June 6th, 2026 through Supernaut Sound Production.

Out of nowhere, Gutward just showed up. What started as a few riffs, turned into songs that carries the weight and darkness reminiscent of Black Sabbath, Electric Wizard, Sleep, and Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats. Instead of hiding those influences, Gutward leans into them, blending both worlds.

Their early singles, »Mauna Vedanā« and »Mass Delusion«, introduced their character. There is room for repetition in their music. The band approaches each track as a statement rather than a product, exploring themes of inner conflict, belief, and collective chaos through sound.

On June 6, 2026, the band released their debut album, »I«, featuring six tracks: »Reign Of The Wicked«, »What’s With The Rush?«, »Dead Eyes«, »Mass Delusion«, »Rot Alone«, and »The Messages«.
