»Rising« is the debut album by the Pacific Northwest (Tri-Cities, Washington) sludge/psychedelic grunge band Rad Stag. Released in late May, the 8-track, 44-minute record features heavy tracks like »Party Like A Desert Rat« and »Break Me Down«. The band chose to pull their music from mainstream platforms like Spotify, making their album available independently. You can stream / purchase »Rising« HERE.

Says the band: “As we begin putting our music out into the streaming world, we’ve decided not to use Spotify. We know we’re not a big band with much influence, but this is a decision we have made as a band, based on what we’ve seen and what we believe in. Between Spotify’s ties to war tech, the way they treat artists, and their push toward AI generated music and art, it isn’t something we feel comfortable being a part of. Join the Rising!”
