Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Void Of Law is a fuzzed out doom metal project featuring brothers Justyn and Jayson Schmidt from Bayonet Hell.

Void Of Law crafts a punishing blend of doom and sludge metal, capturing the signature gloom and sonic weight synonymous with Portland’s heavy music heritage. Operating as an independent, unsigned outfit, the band has steadily built a dedicated following within the stoner and doom communities.

In June 2026, Void Of Law released their highly anticipated debut full-length album, »Cosmic Decay«, which builds upon their trademark crushing rhythm and eerie overtones. The 6-track record takes listeners on a spaced-out, apocalyptic journey, solidifying the group’s reputation for sprawling songwriting.
