UK psychedelic/prog/post-rockers The Fierce & The Dead release second single »Shake Hands And Exit« from upcoming album »Regional Theatre«

London, UK based psychedelic/prog/post-rock band The Fierce & The Dead drops the second single »Shake Hands And Exit« taken from their upcoming album, »Regional Theatre«, set to release on September 11th, 2026.

»Shake Hands And Exit« is now available on Spotify and other streaming platforms!

The song is the second release from the upcoming album to feature lead vocals from bassist, producer and songwriter Kevin Feazey, continuing the band’s recent expansion into vocal-led material.

Built around a driving 90s alternative rock feel, »Shake Hands And Exit« combines catchy melodies with the odd-time signatures that have become a hallmark of The Fierce And The Dead’s sound. There’s also a cinematic quality running through the track, drawing on the dramatic atmosphere of classic John Barry film scores.

Speaking about the track and the forthcoming album, Feazey said: “We’re very proud of SH&E. Although we’ve never been afraid of following our instincts this song, and the whole new album, feels much more focused. We like to pack a lot into the songs but not at the expense of being concise.”

Known for blending psychedelic rock, post-rock and alternative influences, The Fierce And The Dead have built a reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive independent bands, earning praise from Prog Magazine, Classic Rock and BBC Radio while maintaining a fiercely DIY approach.

»Shake Hands And Exit« offers another glimpse into the band’s forthcoming fifth album, pairing immediate hooks and adventurous songwriting with a renewed focus on concise, impactful songcraft.
