Cagliari, Italy based sludge/hardcore trio Outlast has just released their second full-length album »Flagellant« on July 17th, 2026.

Outlast is a three-piece sludge metal and hardcore band based in Cagliari, Italy. Formed in 2021, the trio is composed of Riccardo Atzei (bass, vocals), Elvio Corona (guitar), and Matteo Defraia (drums). They are heavily rooted in the Sardinian underground heavy music scene and have shared the stage with regional and international acts at notable underground venues and festivals, such as Cueva Rock Live in Cagliari and Doom Over Karalis Festival.

In September 2022, Outlast released their self-titled debut album. The 10-track record – which features heavy, rhythm-driven songs like »I’m In Control« and »Obsolete« – captures the band’s abrasive, doomy sound.
