Thunderchief takes »With Hatchet, Pike Or Morning Star…« to the Southeastern US this Fall!

Virginia’s persistent sludge-rock crusters Thunderchief are heading south this October in support of their new album »With Hatchet, Pike Or Morning Star…« (ASR Records).
The band will kick off the tour with an appearance at Emissions From The Monolith festival in Youngstown, OH, then will head west to Oklahoma, Texas (including a benefit show for metal legends Sedition), then down thru the Gulf States on a DIY house show blitz.
»With Hatchet, Pike Or Morning Star…« is a 6-song blast of aggressive rock pounding, clocking in around 23 minutes total, and is currently under a 2nd pressing. The press has gone wild with adjectives on how to describe the captured energy, you can read about it all right here: thethunderchief.com.

About Thunderchief:
Once described as “an incessant nightmare, like Sleep on ketamine”, Thunderchief has spent nearly two decades refining their brand of riff-soaked, drum-forward punishment. Built on power, groove, and pure gut instinct, the band doesn’t chase trends – they bulldoze through them.
Thunderchief are:
Rik Surly – Guitar/Vocals
Erik Larson – Drums
Bojan Bidovc // music enthusiast, promoter, misanthrop and sometimes a journalist as well
