Antequera, Spain based heavy psych/prog rockers Plastic Woods return with their third full-length album, »Mirrors«, scheduled for release on October 22nd, 2026 through Spinda Records and Discos Macarras Records.

With »Mirrors«, their third studio album, Plastic Woods take their distinctive blend of progressive rock, psychedelia, hard rock, folk and blues into a more complex and defined sound.

The album unfolds as an inward journey, using the mirror as a metaphor for confronting our own fears, traumas, contradictions and shadows. Inspired by the analytical psychology of Carl Gustav Jung, the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche, Tarot symbolism and the universe of Lewis Carroll, »Mirrors« moves through anxiety, crisis, social criticism, memories and personal reconstruction before ultimately reaching a cathartic conclusion.

Formed in Antequera in 2018, Plastic Woods have released »Icarus« (2019), »Dragonfruit« (2021) and the standalone live single »Flesh And Bones« (2023). Their journey has taken them across stages in Spain, Portugal and Denmark, including festivals such as Sonic Blast or PRO Weekend Fest, where they have shared bills with artists including Toundra, The Black Angels, Earthless, Elder, Greenleaf, Naxatras, Kadavar, Maragda and Lunavieja.

Eight songs. A journey to the other side of the mirror. And one idea at its core: only when we stop running from ourselves can we begin to be free.

»Mirrors« will be released on October 22nd, 2026 jointly by Plastic Woods, Spinda Records, and Discos Macarras Records on vinyl LP (black / splatter), CD digipak, and digital format.
