Astral Construct conjures progressive space rock. Huge atmospheric passages interspersed with heavy dark riffs transport the audience to the deepest corners of their consciousness. This is music from the golden age of music appreciation when listeners consumed the whole album rather than pieces curated in a playlist of multiple artists played on a device that often distracts from full immersion.
»The Exoplanetary Diversions« takes a further dive into the limits of space, psychedelic, and progressive rock. Heavy riffs that pull planets out of their gravity. Softer, atmospheric passages layered with laid back guitar lines that briefly calm the storm. Bass lines that expand the tonal space and create their own position in the mix. Soaring, droning synth that brings time to a standstill as you float on waves. All held together by drums that anchor the chaos.
»The Exoplanetary Diversions« continue the cosmic explorations, both physical and of the mind, of The Traveler. As with previous albums, the music becomes a vehicle to transport the listener to far away places, providing refuge from dark times. This is not rapid consumption of a single piece of music but, rather, a slow process of letting the combination of all movements wash over.

The album will be Astral Construct’s first with Echodelick Records. »Crimson« features psychedelic passages, heavy sections and a surprise middle section that invokes moody, ethereal movements. The song fits perfectly with the Astral Construct mission of drawing the listener into the journey and takes them back to the age when albums were consumed in its entirety, rather than pieces cobbled into streaming playlists.”
