Emerging from the deep roots of the local underground music scene, Buzzard God has officially burst onto the landscape with the release of their highly anticipated debut EP, »The Grave Bong Sessions«. Combining raw energy with heavy, riff-driven instrumentation, the Philadelphia-area power trio delivers a no-frills rock & roll experience that seamlessly blends stoner rock with psychedelic post-grunge.

Buzzard God brings together a wealth of musical pedigree, featuring former members of The Curse, None More Black, and Better Day. Drawing on their collective years within the storied Philly rock scene, the band strips away modern pretense to focus strictly on a raw, fuzzy, and uncompromisingly heavy sound.

»The Grave Bong Sessions« was captured in the studio with engineer Dave Adoff of Crossed Keys, balancing the band’s massive, distorted stoner-doom textures with a vibrant, punchy sonic edge. The result is a heavy psychological trip built on booming basslines, whiskey-drenched vocals, and thick, acid-hazed atmospheres.

Following the release of the »The Grave Bong Sessions« EP, the band will head back to the studio to finalize their upcoming full-length studio album, slated for a global release later in 2027.

Formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Buzzard God is a heavy rock power trio dedicated to keeping rock & roll raw, fuzzy, and riff-driven. Blending stoner metal, doom sensibilities, and psychedelic post-grunge, the band features veteran musicians from the regional underground scene who are committed to a strict “worship no one” heavy music ethos.
