Asheville, North Carolina based femme-fronted post-sludge band Angelica & The Crooked Path premiere their debut single »Lily«, released on June 18th, 2024.

»Lily« is the first single from southeastern “bloom metal” band, Angelica & The Crooked Path. Combining elements of doom, sludge, witchcraft and hypnagogic aesthetics, Angelica & The Crooked Path seek to carve out their own niche; blurred around the boundaries of the gargantuan fuzzy riff genres. On June 25, the band will be releasing their second single, »Creatures Of Spring«. While »Lily« set out to demonstrate the band’s contrasting heaviness and sense of melody, »Creatures Of Spring« shows the more eclectic side of their influences – post-rock, jazz, and choral music, among others.
