Danish psychedelic doom/heavy rock band Lucid Grave releases a music video for their new single »You Talk«

Copenhagen, Denmark based psychedelic doom/heavy rock band Lucid Grave has released a music video for their new single »You Talk«, out on July 10th, 2024. »You Talk« is also the title track from the band’s upcoming 7″ vinyl single.
Tracklist:
01. You Talk
02. Prefix Suffix – Speak! (You Talk Remix)
Lucid Grave is a rock band from Copenhagen, Denmark with influences ranging from doom metal to disco. The new single, »You Talk«, is a little slap of noise infused surf punk.
The band comments: “The song is about people always wanting to talk, gossip, and it’s typically not very nice things people go around saying; are you punk enough? Are you interesting enough? outgoing enough? are you real rock’n’roll enough? We’ve probably heard that too many times. And as it is sung at the end of the »You Talk«; it’s about being exactly what you want to be.
In the verse, the lyrics says: “You Talk, You Talk, Who is that girl…?” That’s a reference to the typical local rock bar where the regular customers, the inner circle, discover that there is a new girl in the bar and who the hell is she, she defently mustn’t think she is anything. And then the talk starts.

In the music video, Malene, our lead singer, chooses to stay at home and have her own party. She doesn’t want to go out and listen to people’s gossip, and she knows how they talk about her too. It can be overwhelming to have to fit into different environments, and there is also a reason why there are so many people today suffer from social anxiety. And there is many who suffer from it in the rock environment, and get through it, by numbing it with alcohol and drugs.
We should all practice not gossiping so much and get better at saying positive things about each other.
We hope you like the song and will help us spread the word.”
