Heavily invested in the workings of our collective consciousness Crush The Monster siezes the opportunity to sonically explore the woven web that connects us all. The Boise based group, self described as “progressive cowboy doom” will unleash their skull-crushing new album »Death« on September 3rd.

Seeing the world as a place that is burning away leaving only a smoldering pile of ash, »Death 1« (out July 26th) is heavily influenced by the massive sounds of the fabled desert rock genre to create the perfect soundtrack down a bleak desert highway through bat country.

“This album is a conversation between our mortality and the death of our planet. We must fight to protect the spaces and wildlife we know and enjoy.” – Crush The Monster

Initially forming as a ragtag brigade of beer-drinking garage-rockers, Crush The Monster has found their identity over the past 3 years of bandhood. As the band wrote and recorded their debut LP »Carlsbad« post-pandemic, the group underwent a myriad of line-up changes and experimented heavily with compelling soundscapes and unconventional writing practices. This experimentation formed their unique yet dynamic sound on their new album »Death« and established their fondness of the unexpected.

Sharing stages with Elder, Belzebong, Dreadnought, and many more, Crush The Monster has performed at Treefort Music Fest and Flipside Fest. The group is currently planning an expansive tour of the Pacific Northwest with an eye on other tour markets coming next year!
