Formed in San Luis Potosí, Mexico at the end of 2022, Abyecto emerges from the depths of existential exploration, crafting a sonic landscape as vast and enigmatic as the themes they delve into, a journey through the abyss of the psyche, a call to the void that resonates back with the weight of centuries, like a reflection on the perception of reality versus its true nature.

Abyecto music is an invitation to embark on a metaphysical odyssey. Through their haunting melodies and profound lyrics, they explore the liminal spaces between worlds, the interstices of time and space, and the infinite possibilities of existence. Their work is a call to those who dare to venture beyond the veil of reality, to those who seek to understand the depths of their being and the universe that encompasses it.

Abyecto finds inspiration in bands such as Amenra, Sâver, Isis, Russian Circles, Pelican, Conan, Aleph Null, among many others… reflecting the depth and complexity of their music.

As architects of sound, Abyecto constructs aural monuments to the unknown, each track a pillar in the cathedral of their creation.
