French heavy psych/stoner rockers Greyborn share new live session video and announce lineup changes!

Limoges, France based heavy psych/stoner rockers Greyborn have released new live session video including songs »Scars« and »Ravenous« from their latest EP, »Scars«, out on March 8th, 2024.

Greyborn also announced that their guitarist Maxime is leaving the band. Here’s the official statement by Théo and Guillaume:

“This is the last time you see Greyborn in this line-up. Our guitarist Maxime has decided to leave the band. Starting this fall, you’ll find him on the artist side in his solo project Blackbird Hill, as well as behind the curtain as a staff member for the venue La Nef in Angoulême, France!

We know this decision is positive for Maxime, and we completely understand and respect it. In a way, we’re almost happy and lucky that this line-up change is taking place 3 years (almost to the day) after recording our first EP ‘Leeches’. It doesn’t feel like something is left unfinished, it feels symbolic, drawing a calm and clear end to a collaboration.

Max, thank you for helping Greyborn materialize and for giving your time and energy to shape this band with us! Thank you for embracing our artistic vision, serving it and strengthening it with your way of playing, your tone, your choices and your taste. All of these will have momentum and will keep influencing our music in times to come, and that’s a good thing.

We don’t know what the next iteration of Greyborn will look like yet, but there will be one and we are working on it. It’ll be exciting to find out, that’s for sure! Thanks for supporting us until now, we’ll keep you posted.
