Submersion Records is happy to announce its 26th release, the second full-length album of Spineless titled »Dysphonia«.

Spineless is the project of vocalist and musician Chrysa Tsaltampasi, collaborating with amazing musicians from the Greek music scene.

Presenting a unique blend of influences ranging from Chelsea Wolfe to Godflesh, Ulver, and Mike Patton, »Dysphonia« is an excellent successor to 2018’s »Speaking Of Chaos And Relative Peace«.

Tsaltampasi is an internationally acclaimed vocalist and teacher, regularly participating in conferences and seminars organized by high-profile European musical institutions.

Gathering inspiration from a wide range of collaborations over the past few years, including working with Ben Frost for the soundtrack of the critically acclaimed Netflix series »1899«, and recording with artists like Sofia Sarri, Beyond Perception, Mother Turtle, and Bella Fuzz, Spineless presents a collection of songs steeped in calculated anger, experimentation, and brutal honesty.

Glimpses of light shine through the thick rhythms, electronics, and guitars that accompany Chrysa’s haunting vocals, in compositions that blend monolithic post-metal with melodic songwriting, like watching Neurosis swirl around Mono, all approached with a deep-cut 90’s alternative flair.

»Dysphonia« ushers Spineless into a new era of bold expression and inspired musicality, rooted in the rich tradition of the Greek music underground scene, while maintaining a sharp focus on the future.
