About the band:
Qaisor is a melodic sludge/doom band from Copenhagen, Denmark, featuring musicians from different backgrounds within the metal scene. Together the group have ended up with a sound that combines feedback drenched heaviness with catchy vocal melodies and harmonies, echoing the sounds of bands like Baroness, Torche and Earth. With their new concept EP »Mote Of Dust« Qaisor sends you mercilessly through the wormhole of their sci-fi inspired universe.
About »Mote Of Dust« EP:
The EP tells a story about the threat of mass extinction on Earth, a possible rescue by an alien civilization, and the invincible untamed forces of Mother Nature. »Mote Of Dust« questions the very value of our human species and illustrates how extremely vulnerable we are – like a microscopic mote of dust floating in a sunbeam, in the infinite universe.
Morten has fronted numerous bands in the Danish rock, metal and even synthpop scene including the sludge metal band Rising.
Besides Qaisor Magnus have played both guitar and bass in many constallations and genres. Present and former bands include (0), Red Forest and BAB O.D.
Mads has been very active in the underground of Doom and black metal.Amongst many others, his CV includes (0), Ethereal Kingdoms, Nebulas and Gespenst.
