Vienna, Austria based experimental ambient post-rock duo ManiSol has just released their debut double album on December 15th, 2024, split into two parts: »Mani« and »Sol«.

ManiSol introduce their double LP, an exploration of duality and interconnectedness. This ambitious project is split into two distinct yet complementary parts: »Mani« and »Sol«, representing the Moon and the Sun. With twelve tracks, the album delves deep into the philosophical and artistic exploration of contrasting forces – light and dark, tranquility and turbulence, ancient and modern.

The »Mani« side unveils darker, more ambient compositions, integrating elements of doom and experimental sounds. It mirrors the introspective, often shadowy aspects of human experience, akin to the mysterious allure of the moon. In contrast, »Sol« brightens the journey with lighter, more structured pieces, yet retains an experimental edge. It reflects the sun’s energy, embodying themes of hope, renewal, and clarity.

Each track in the album is a unique narrative, woven into a larger story that beckons listeners into a journey of self-discovery and cosmic reflection. ManiSol’s innovative use of unconventional instruments and recording techniques, such as looping self-recorded samples, adds a distinctive texture to their sound.
