Evil Bong is a four-piece stoner metal band from Burlington, Vermont with lyrical topics about wizards & weed. Featuring members of Lungbuster, Smokestack Lightning, Gnomedad, Ca$e Closed & Komodo VT.
The band dropped their debut single »Evil Bong« on May 30th, 2024, available now on all major streaming platforms.
Evil Bong are Tim (guitar, producer), Stee (vocals), Toby (drums) and Raf (bass, harsh vocals).
Can you say a few words about your band?
Wizards & weed.
What was the biggest challenge for the band?
Escaping from Dracula Planet. Almost didn’t make ot out alive.
What can you be most proud of so far?
Mastering the ability to travel between realms.
What was your biggest regret?
Not destroying the Evil Bong while we had yhe chance.
What was the best concert/tour so far and why?
Lost In New England Tour ’24 where we did a week long run with Komodo VT, Hobo Wizard, VRSA, & special guest Büzem for a few shows. I think all the bands could agree the second-to-last gig on that tour at Feathered Friend Brewing in NH was the best one. We actually have footage of that, courtesy if Arrick NH.
What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
People actually show up to the gigs.
What is currently in your heavy musical rotation?
Whatever is posted daily on Rob Hammer & 666MrDoom YouTube channels. Also Weedian has some great compilations.
What was the best advice you’ve ever been given as a musician?
Do your best to be on timez / and if you know youre gonna be late, do your best to hit up the necessary people ASAP. I am notoriously late, it’s not fun.
What are your guilty pleasures?
Watching “The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross”.
Can you say something more about current music scene in Vermont?
Endless creativity, diversity, and open minded/accepting. We love Vermont.

What are your plans for the future as a band?
To take down the evil bong once and for all and return all yhe spuls it has captured.
