US doom metal duo Brathair premiere Black Sabbath cover »Over And Over« featuring former Pentagram members Greg Turley and Victor Griffin.

»Over And Over« is a tribute that honors the legendary sounds of Dio and Black Sabbath, infused with the unmistakable spirit of Brathair. The journey to this cover began with a simple text from Pete Campbell (ex-Pentagram, ex-Sixty Watt Shaman, ex-Place Of Skulls, Rust Bucket), expressing his enthusiasm for reimagining this classic tune. He envisioned how powerful it would be with contributions from his former Pentagram bandmates Greg Turley and Victor Griffin, both of whom share a rich history with the genre.
In a time when connection felt scarce, Pete laid down guitar and drum tracks in Minnesota, sending them out to Victor and Greg in Tennessee, and to Big Andy out in Oregon. This collaboration, despite the miles between us, was a testament to the resilience of our musical bond.
Much like the rest of the tracks on our »Thicker Than Water« album, »Over And Over« captures a raw, live emotion that resonated deeply with us during the Covid lockdowns. It’s a reminder of the power of music to transcend distance and isolation, uniting us in our shared love for the heavy sounds that shaped our lives. This song embodies the hope and energy we all craved, bringing forth a collective experience of creativity and camaraderie in a time of uncertainty.
