Dutch heavy rockers Thammuz return with a brand-new track, »The Boy In The Crow’s Nest«, the second single taken from their forthcoming full-length album »III«, due out May 9, 2025 via Argonauta Records.

Available now on all major streaming services, the song is more introspective and has a doomy atmosphere. »The Boy In The Crow’s Nest« reveals another facet of »III«. A more fragile approach, but still very much a signature Thammuz song. It sets the stage for their most dynamic and expansive record to date.

Formed in the Netherlands in 2020, Thammuz quickly made their mark with their debut »Into The Great Unknown«, landing at #2 on the international Doom Charts. Their follow-up, »Sons Of The Occult« (2022), released via Argonauta Records, delved into darker, more introspective territory, establishing the band as a standout act in the stoner and doom underground.

Now entering a new era with »III«, Thammuz push their sound into even heavier and more melodic terrain. The upcoming album will feature ten tracks that fuse raw power, haunting moods and hypnotic groove, including the previously released single »When Darkness Comes«, featuring guest vocals by Jelle Aaron Scholtes of Baardvader.

»III« will be released May 9, 2025, on CD, Colored Vinyl and Digital formats. Pre-orders coming soon via Argonauta Records.

Listen to »The Boy In The Crow’s Nest« now, available on all streaming platforms!
