Hailing from Truro, Nova Scotia, The Orchids are a two-piece punk/stoner rock band delivering unrelenting power and redefining the possibilities of a duo. Formed in 2023 by Rhys Poirier (guitar/vocals) and Alexis Grant (drums), The Orchids burst onto the scene with ferocious live performances, unmistakable chemistry, and a “Volume Equals Better” ethos. Channeling raw energy and thunderous, fuzz-soaked riffs, this duo creates a sound that’s loud, primal, and far greater than the sum of its two members.
