Nehoda, a powerful trio hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, is set to reintroduce themselves with their self-titled album, set to be released on September 27, 2024. Known for their cinematic soundscapes and honest songwriting, Nehoda’s music takes listeners on a journey through the beauty and darkness of life.
Influenced by legends like Neil Young, Nirvana, Howlin’ Wolf, and Robert Johnson, Nehoda blends classic tones with modern vibes, reminiscent of bands like Pink Floyd and A Perfect Circle. Their unique sound and powerful performances have earned them a dedicated following.
Nehoda runs for a total of 31 minutes and showcases the band’s evolution and commitment to authentic storytelling. The recording took place at Sundog Studios in East Nashville, with production by Ryon Westover and Patrick Nehoda. Engineering was handled by Michael Esser and Jordan Vivero, mastering by Mikey Allred, and mixing by Ryon Westover. The album artwork was created by Patrick Nehoda, and the vinyl editions are being produced locally with Gotta Groove Records in Cleveland, OH. Vinyl will be limited to 25 wax mage editions, 25 Rainbows in The Dark, 125 random color and 150 high-fi black.
Nehoda consists of Patrick Nehoda on guitar, vocals, and writing, Grayson Papa on bass, and Chris “Chip” Heard on percussion and Hammond C-3, with Henry Cruz making a guest appearance on guitar for the track »Hot Blooded Woman«. The name Nehoda means “mistake” or “accident” in Czech and Russian, reflecting the band’s philosophy of finding beauty in unexpected places.

Formed in 2019, Nehoda is a Nashville-based power trio that creates evocative and powerful music with genuine, heartfelt lyrics. The band consists of Patrick Nehoda (guitar, vocals, writing), Grayson Papa (bass), and Chris “Chip” Heard (percussion and Hammond C-3). Patrick Nehoda has been performing and releasing music since 2010, with the band quickly gaining recognition after its formation. They have won two Song of the Year awards with SevernFm radio in the UK for »Devil’s Bitch« in 2017 and »Dear Mr. President« in 2020. Nehoda has also toured extensively in England and Ireland. Their discography includes »Don’t Forget The Hat« (2016), »Dear Mr. President« (2020), »But Anyways« (2020), and »Dissolution« (2023).
