Dying Sun is a three-piece atmospheric doom/sludge/post-metal band from Frederick, Maryland.

Founded in 2008, Dying Sun released an EP and three full-length albums: »5125« EP (2008), »12212010« (2011), »Transcendence« (2014) and »Wrought« (2025).

They also recorded My Dying Bride cover »Only Tears To Replace Her With« for a compilation called »Lake Of Ghosts« in 2017.
