Asheville, North Carolina based death/doom metal act Harsh Realm stream their debut full-length album, »Death Carries On«, which was just released on October 18th, 2024 via Hand Of Death Records.

I’m unbelievably stoked to have this record out in the world. Thank you to Alex Farrar, Adam McDaniel and Madeline Johnston (Midwife) for playing vital roles in helping it come together. Without them this record simply wouldn’t exist.

I’d be remiss if i didn’t also thank all of these incredibly talented musicians for helping me along the way: Jovan Knowles, @phillycheesesteakspector, Thomas Mims, Mike Royal, Hannah Lynn, Jordan Vermillion.

Creating this collection of songs pushed me beyond my abilities at times, but in a way that forced growth as an artist as well as a human being. I put everything I had into them and I really would love to hear what y’all think.

The overarching concept of »Death Carries On« is obsession. Obsession with others, ourselves and most of all with death. Songs from both perspectives; taking another’s life, or yours being taken from you along a torturous path. And the concept of death being an actual figure that does what it wants with you and continues on after you’re gone.
