Following last summer’s galvanized debut EP, »Fires Of The Flame«, Hereafter sets to up the ante on their special blend of rhythmic Metal with this sophomore release. The first single, the EP’s title track, »Overcome«, is now available for streaming via an audio video.

“This EP really takes the band to a different level,” said guitarist and EP producer Mick Michaels. “We definitely wanted to thicken things up a bit more from the first EP… and I think we accomplished that.”

Hereafter’s arsenal consists of vocalist Chris Natalini (Executuon Order, former Blood Feast), bassist Robert Bigler (Burned In Effigy), drummer Mad T (Corners Of Sanctuary) and guitarist Mick Michaels (Corners Of Sanctuary).

“This time around we tried a few different things and they came out amazing,” said vocalist Chris Natalini. “What started as an idea has turned into a second release and I couldn’t be any more excited…can’t wait for people to hear it.”

At the moment, there are no plans for the band to perform live; being primarily a studio project, member schedules aren’t currently offering much leeway for shows. However, the band has discussed putting together a deluxe album combining both EPs and including bonus material sometime in the future.

“The music and lyrics are filled with raw emotion…with a touch of darkness added in,” Natalini added. “Different than the last release but it just goes to show where we are headed for the future.”

»Overcome« is available now for Spotify pre-order. The EP officially drops digitally on August 8th and a limited quantity of CDs will also be available by contacting the band directly.
